Key takeaways
- Stab City is a trailer park community, not the name for the whole western Alamo Sea shoreline.
- Its practical boundary is the built-up settlement beside Calafia Road, stretching around the trailer park and its immediate shoreline.
- The main group associated with the area is The Lost MC, particularly the Blaine County chapter.
- In Story Mode, Stab City changes substantially after Mr Philips and Friends Reunited. Its Lost occupants are removed, although the location remains as a recognisable trailer settlement.
- The main access road is Calafia Road, with the Zancudo River and Alamo Sea forming the natural boundaries to the south and east.
- The location has no normal Story Mode shop, property purchase, police station, hospital or conventional service hub. Its importance is narrative and mission-based rather than commercial.
About this guide
Scope: Grand Theft Auto V Story Mode, with clearly marked notes for Grand Theft Auto Online. Spoilers: This guide discusses Trevor’s early Blaine County missions, The Lost MC, and the post-mission state of the settlement.
Overview
Stab City is a small, impoverished trailer settlement on the western shore of the Alamo Sea in Blaine County. It sits at the mouth of the Zancudo River, just off Calafia Road, and is best known as a Lost MC stronghold and as one of the first places where Trevor Philips openly dismantles a rival criminal operation. The settlement is not a broad desert region or a district containing several towns. It is a compact community whose main built-up area is the trailer park itself.
Although Stab City is visually simple, it is important to the early Trevor storyline. The area establishes the rivalry between Trevor Philips Enterprises and The Lost MC, provides a major combat arena in Mr. Philips and Friends Reunited, and later appears in GTA Online activities involving the Lost.
Overview and boundaries
Stab City is located on the north-western side of the Alamo Sea, at the point where the Zancudo River reaches the lake. The settlement is reached from Calafia Road and consists mainly of trailers, makeshift fencing, rubbish, parked vehicles and rough tracks between dwellings. It is described in-game reference material as a poverty-stricken trailer park rather than a formally planned town.
The name “Stab City” applies to the community shown on the map and to the trailer park area around it. It should not be expanded to include every nearby rural location. In particular, the following places are separate:
There is no well-supported hierarchy of named internal districts within Stab City. The safest geographical division is therefore:
Stab City proper
The main trailer park and its immediate internal tracks. This is where the Lost MC are encountered during Trevor’s missions and where most of the settlement’s visual details are concentrated.
Stab City shoreline and river edge
The rough western Alamo Sea shoreline around the mouth of the Zancudo River. This is part of the setting around the settlement, but it should not be treated as a separate named neighbourhood.
Calafia Road approach
The road connection leading into the trailer park. Calafia Road also continues towards other Blaine County locations, including the separate Ortega trailer area.
Named directory: Stab City proper
The entries above describe the settlement and its immediately associated features. They do not imply that Ortega’s trailer, Sandy Shores or Grapeseed belong to Stab City.

Geography and atmosphere
Stab City is one of the clearest visual representations of rural poverty in Blaine County. The trailers are crowded together on an unmaintained lot, with little separation between homes. Broken fencing, rubbish, old vehicles and improvised outdoor structures give the area a temporary and neglected appearance.
The settlement is almost entirely low-rise. There are no substantial civic buildings, high-rise structures or obvious public facilities. Its open layout makes it easy to cross on foot, but the scattered trailers and fences create numerous short sightlines. During missions, this gives Lost bikers opportunities to attack from behind buildings or from the edges of the park.
The shoreline also helps define the location’s character. Stab City feels isolated from Los Santos and even from the better-developed Blaine County settlements. The Alamo Sea provides a broad open backdrop, while the river and surrounding desert reinforce the sense that the trailer park sits at the edge of civilisation.
Visual landmarks
The most recognisable features are not formal landmarks but recurring environmental details:
Some environmental objects are especially important during missions because they can be used as cover or become hazards. Their mission behaviour should not be confused with permanent services or collectible systems.

Access and routes
Main road access
The normal approach is from Calafia Road. In Story Mode, Trevor reaches Stab City during the opening sequence of his Blaine County storyline, and the route is also used when he later returns to attack the settlement.
The settlement is not difficult to find once the map label is visible. Before that point, the trailers and the Alamo Sea shoreline are the most useful visual cues.
Approaching during missions
During Mr. Philips, the player reaches Stab City as part of a pursuit involving members of The Lost. The mission funnels the player into a hostile encounter, so arriving with a fast vehicle does not remove the combat sequence. The mission’s route continues afterwards towards Ortega’s separate trailer location.
During Friends Reunited, Trevor and Wade return to the Lost MC trailer park. The player must enter the area, plant sticky bombs on marked trailers and detonate them before leaving. The mission then continues to Los Santos, so Stab City is the opening combat and demolition section rather than the entire mission.

Main road access: The most practical route is
- 01Travel through Blaine County towards Calafia Road.
- 02Follow the road along the western side of the Alamo Sea.
- 03Turn into the trailer park approach.
- 04Enter on foot or by vehicle, depending on whether a mission is active.

| Ortega’s trailer | Separate Calafia Road mission location |
| Grand Senora Desert | Wider regional landscape, not a Stab City subarea |
Residents, visitors and factions
The Lost MC
The Lost MC are the principal faction associated with Stab City. In GTA V, the Blaine County chapter operates across several rural locations and is involved in firearms and drug distribution. Their presence creates direct competition with Trevor’s operations.
The Lost are not simply random residents. During the relevant missions, Stab City functions as a gang-controlled base and trailer park. Members are stationed around the site, ride motorcycles, use firearms and defend their equipment.
Their Stab City presence is particularly important because Trevor’s conflict with Johnny Klebitz escalates into a direct attack on the chapter. After Johnny is killed, Trevor follows fleeing Lost members to Stab City and eliminates the group there.
Trevor Philips
Trevor is the principal Story Mode character connected to Stab City. He treats the settlement as part of the territory he intends to control and attacks it as part of his effort to remove The Lost from Blaine County.
Stab City also helps establish Trevor’s methods. He does not negotiate with the Lost or attempt to absorb their operation peacefully. Instead, he destroys their people, trailers and equipment, making the location a visual expression of the violent expansion of Trevor Philips Enterprises.
Wade Hebert
Wade accompanies Trevor during Friends Reunited. He helps identify the Lost trailer park and supplies the weapons Trevor needs before the attack. Wade is a visitor and mission companion, not a resident of Stab City.
Ordinary NPCs
Outside mission states, the area may contain ordinary rural pedestrians, drivers and ambient Blaine County traffic. These should not be confused with permanent named residents. The game does not establish a detailed resident directory for Stab City, and the trailers are not presented as individually named homes with a documented cast of occupants.

Buildings, businesses and services
Stab City has very little conventional commerce. The settlement’s apparent businesses and structures are mostly environmental dressing or gang facilities rather than player-facing shops.
Trailer park
The trailer park is the settlement’s principal built environment. In Story Mode it serves as:
The trailers are not generally available as interiors or properties for the player. Mission-specific access should therefore be separated from ordinary free-roam access.
Lost MC facilities
The Lost use several trailers and outdoor areas for their criminal operation. The game presents these as gang infrastructure rather than a named, purchasable business. In Friends Reunited, the player destroys trailers with sticky bombs. In Mr. Philips, the mission attack also affects the Lost’s presence and equipment.
No confirmed player services
There is no reliable evidence that Stab City contains a regular Story Mode:
A trailer, fuel tank or gang facility should not be classified as a shop or service simply because it resembles one. The settlement’s importance comes from its missions, faction presence and environmental storytelling.

These names describe identifiable structures or functional areas. They are not all official map labels or enterable interiors.

Story Mode missions and progression
Stab City is most important during two early Trevor missions.
Mr. Philips
Playable character: Trevor Philips Primary faction: The Lost MC Main targets: Lost MC members and, later, Ortega Mission position: Early Trevor storyline Unlocks: Trevor Philips Industries, Nervous Ron and Bail Bond, according to mission references.
After Trevor kills Johnny Klebitz, members of The Lost flee towards Stab City. Trevor pursues them and attacks the trailer park. The sequence is not a normal free-roam gang encounter. It is a scripted mission event with enemies positioned around the route and settlement.
Walkthrough
The mission establishes the first major Story Mode change to the settlement. The Lost are no longer simply an ambient rural faction in the area. Trevor has openly attacked their local base.
Walkthrough
- 01Follow the mission route from the Grapeseed area.
- 02Pursue the fleeing Lost members towards Stab City.
- 03Enter the trailer park and eliminate the hostile bikers.
- 04Use trailers, fences and vehicles as cover, but avoid standing in the open.
- 05Continue the mission when the Lost resistance is defeated.
- 06Travel with Ron to Ortega’s trailer on Calafia Road.
- 07Remember that Ortega’s trailer is a separate location outside Stab City proper.
Friends Reunited
Playable character: Trevor Philips Companion: Wade Hebert Primary objective: Destroy the Lost MC trailer park Main weapon requirement: Sticky bombs Later destination: Floyd’s apartment in Vespucci Beach Unlocks: Fame or Shame, plus the Nigel and Mrs Thornhill Stranger and Freaks chain.
This mission returns to Stab City after Trevor has left Sandy Shores to search for Michael. Wade takes Trevor to the Lost trailer park, where Trevor plants sticky bombs on the trailers.
Walkthrough
The main practical mistake is leaving before all required bombs have been placed. Another is detonating too close to the blast area. Use the outer edges of the park as a fallback route and avoid becoming trapped between trailers.
Mission directory
Only Mr. Philips and Friends Reunited are set directly in Stab City. The other entries are progression connections, not Stab City missions.
---
Walkthrough
- 01Drive with Wade to the Stab City trailer park.
- 02Enter the park carefully and identify the marked trailers.
- 03Move between trailers while dealing with Lost members.
- 04Plant sticky bombs on the required targets.
- 05Keep track of the escape route before detonating the explosives.
- 06Detonate the bombs only after the required trailers are marked.
- 07Leave the trailer park and return to Wade.
- 08Follow the mission route towards Los Santos.

Progression states and changes
Stab City has several useful Story Mode states.
Before Mr. Philips
The area is primarily a Lost MC-controlled trailer settlement. If visited through free roam before the mission, it is possible to encounter hostile Lost members and gang-related activity, but the full mission sequence has not yet occurred.
During Mr. Philips
The Lost occupy the park and are treated as mission enemies. The area becomes a scripted combat zone with a pursuit route leading into it.
After Mr. Philips
The local Lost presence is heavily disrupted. Mission references note that returning to Stab City after the mission can show the destructible trailer containing the meth lab as destroyed, whether or not it was destroyed during the mission.
During Friends Reunited
The trailer park becomes a demolition objective. The player is required to plant sticky bombs, making the location temporarily more dangerous than its normal free-roam state.
After Friends Reunited
The settlement remains in the world as a physical place, but the mission’s destruction changes its appearance and reinforces the impression that Trevor has dismantled the Lost operation there. The area should not be treated as permanently removed from the map.

Note
GTA Online note
GTA Online differences
Stab City also appears in GTA Online, but its role differs from Story Mode. The area can again be used by The Lost MC in missions and combat activities, so its inhabitants and mission state do not follow the exact Story Mode sequence.
Stab City Survival
Stab City Survival is a GTA Online Survival job associated with the trailer park. It places players in a wave-based combat scenario against attacking enemies. The job was introduced as part of the continuation of The Diamond Casino & Resort update during the Survival Series event.
The Survival version should be kept separate from Story Mode:
Drug-related Online missions
Stab City is also used in later GTA Online activities involving The Lost MC, including missions where the player attacks Lost facilities or steals equipment. The Los Santos Drug Wars mission chain, for example, sends players to Stab City to clear Lost members and destroy their equipment.
Online should therefore be understood as a reusable mission location rather than a single permanently resolved narrative site.

Hazards and combat advice
Stab City is dangerous mainly when the Lost are active. The settlement is not difficult because of its size, but because the trailers create irregular cover and restricted movement.
Practical advice
---
Secrets, environmental details and exploration
Stab City does not have a large collection of confirmed Story Mode collectibles or a unique completion checklist. Its secrets are mainly environmental and mission-related.
Explosive environmental props
A fenced trailer and explosive gas-tank area are among the notable hazards documented for the settlement. These can be useful for improvised combat but are dangerous when the Lost are nearby.
Mission equipment
The sticky bombs used in Friends Reunited are mission equipment and should not be treated as a permanent Stab City collectible. Likewise, Lost weapons and vehicles are part of the gang encounter rather than fixed rewards.
Nearby crash-site items
The Merryweather cargo-plane crash site in the Alamo Sea is associated with a separate event and is located north of Stab City. Weapons can be found there after Minor Turbulence, but the crash site is not part of Stab City.
Suggested exploration route
---
Suggested exploration route: For a clean first visit
- 01Start on Calafia Road and approach without entering the trailer park immediately.
- 02Circle the outer edge to identify the shoreline and river side.
- 03Look at the trailer clusters, fences and Lost-related environmental details.
- 04Enter through the main road approach.
- 05Check the central tracks and the fenced explosive area.
- 06Leave via the same road rather than crossing the water.
- 07Visit Ortega’s trailer separately if following the mission geography.
- 08Compare the location before and after Friends Reunited if you want to study the progression changes.
Real-world inspiration and name
Stab City is widely understood as a fictionalised version of Slab City, an unincorporated desert community in Imperial County, California. The comparison is based on the name, the informal trailer and makeshift settlement character, and the location’s marginal relationship with formal services. The in-game place should nevertheless be treated as its own fictional community rather than as a direct map copy.
The earlier name Sunset Shores appears in reference material as Stab City’s former name. The final name reflects the settlement’s association with violence and the Lost MC’s criminal reputation.
